Our Cleaning Policy
BUNN HOUSE LAYOUT OFFERS BUILT-IN PRIVACY AND SAFETY:
Our first floor rooms are entered directly from the grounds, permitting guests access to their room independently of other guests. Upstairs rooms share a common entry point with wall-mounted hand sanitizer. Fresh, clean air is available in all rooms, which feature screened windows, ceiling fans and balconies or patios.
Bunn House Air Purification:
In 2020, we upgraded our air purification system and now have an ActivePure air cleaner as part of our system. ActivePure cleaning system is a powerful air and surface purification technology which is designed to quietly work 24/7 to safely and effectively improve the air quality of indoor spaces. ActivePure® reduces airborne and surface contaminants, destroys bacteria and viruses, purifies the air and surfaces and reduces odors to protect guests as they enter and move around.
Bunn House Sanitation Protocol:
We have the highest standard for safety for both our guests as well as our staff. Occupied rooms remain empty after check-out for a period of 24-72 hours. Our staff are required to wear a mask and gloves while cleaning. Each room is thoroughly cleaned and surfaces sanitized with bleach-containing cleaning products. We provide a detailed cleaning list for each room, including all common areas, and require staff members to initial and date upon completion. We then inspect each room and confirm all cleaning procedures have been completed in a meticulous manner. When you arrive, you can be assured the highest standards have been met.
Stayover Service and Policy:
We do not offer daily room cleaning services in an effort to maintain social distancing. Extra towels and sanitation wipes are stocked in each room; additional towels and amenities are available upon request.
Employee Health Policy:
We require all staff to report on their health at the beginning of each shift and require employees to stay home if they are feeling sick. This is strictly enforced.
Guest Health Policy:
We require that all guests confirm their health status as well. Prior to checking in you will receive a text message, email or phone call to confirm that you do not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19. We will also send a post stay email as a means of following up.
